Binding of heavy objects
During the lifting operation, due to the ever-changing appearance and shape of the heavy objects, different postures, and different lifting means and mechanical equipment, the binding method is different when the heavy objects are bound and lifted.
1. Bag rope binding method
The binding method of passing the sling through the bottom of the load and hanging the rope end on the hook is called pocket rope binding method. This method is applicable to the binding of boxed equipment and equipment with regular shape.
When there is a pair of slings, hang the four rope ends of the pair on the hook, and wrap the middle section of the rope at the bottom of both ends of the weight. If the elastic deformation of the heavy object is large, such as reinforcement, etc., it is necessary to wrap an empty circle around the weight in the middle of each rope to increase the friction between the sling and the weight and avoid the sling sliding on the object.
When there is only one sling, hang the middle and two ends of the rope on the hook respectively, and hang the weight with two loops of equal size hanging down. When a single rope pocket is used to hang and bind heavy objects, an empty circle should be wound around the middle of the sling on the hook, otherwise the rope is easy to slip.
