1、 Selection of binding points for heavy objects
When lifting various objects, in order to avoid tilting, overturning, deformation and damage of the object, the binding point should be correctly selected according to the shape characteristics and center of gravity position of the object, so that the object has sufficient stability in the lifting process to avoid accidents. The binding point of the heavy object refers to the point where the binding rope contacts the heavy object during the lifting process to concentrate the force, that is, the lifting point. When a single rope is used to lift a heavy object, the binding point shall be on the same vertical line with the center of gravity; When two or more ropes are used to bind and lift heavy objects, the intersection of the ropes (hook position) shall be on the same plumb line with the center of gravity.
(1) Selection of binding points
① Select binding points by trial lifting method. In general lifting work, it is not necessary to use calculation method to accurately calculate the center of gravity of the object, but to estimate the position of the center of gravity of the object, and use the method of low trial lifting to gradually find the center of gravity and determine the binding position of the lifting point.
② For objects with specified binding points (lifting lugs or rings), the original design lifting points shall be used. The boxed equipment is generally marked with clear binding points, and the inclined angle of its box bottom supporting plate can also be used for lifting and binding. These are the specified binding points.
③ For objects without specified binding points, the sling can be tied at four points on both sides of the center of gravity, and the appropriate binding point can be determined according to the specific situation of the object to be lifted, so that the hook and the center of gravity of the object are on the same vertical line.
